Laminin: Secret of the Cross

Laminin
-a large glycoprotein that binds epithelial cells to connective tissue
-is a protein found in the "extracellular matrix", the sheets of protein that form the substrate of all internal organs also called the "basement membrane".
-four arms that can bind to four other molecules. The three shorter arms are particularly good at binding to other laminin molecules, which is what makes it so great at forming sheets.
-the long arm is capable of binding to cells, which helps anchor the actual organs to the membrane.
-is vital to making sure overall body structures hold together.

Colossians 1:17 "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."

Science is a creation of God. The more mankind understand about science, the more we will understand about God. Rocket scientists have found out that a slight change in the distance of the moon or the sun and we will be doomed. All the things that seem normal are actually involve extraordinary processed. It is very illogical to believe that all these things are created by chance. We are very excited to explore civilization beside our planet, but seem not quite successful. It will be very funny that we got to spread the gospel to aliens and try to convert them. Well the bible also never mentioned about that. We probably will be the aliens as we moved out of the planet earth. Science is not about proving the non-existence of God but rather a gradual sustain evidence for the word of God.

Deuteronomy 29:29

"The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever..."

I like the message that Pastor Tan has shared this week, about DNA and laminin. He is always so intellectual. I felt very amazed that the laminins are all over our bodies.
