The most stressful job

According to a research found in my Human Resource Management (the most notorious module in NTU EEE) textbook, the most stressful job in the world is being a U.S President. So if you think Obama's job is cool, after all is not at all. Ok my point here is reading this textbook is actually quite interesting, example there are some terms which i never know exist for name of BIAS.

  • Bandwagon effect: The tendency to do or believe things because many other people do or believe the same.
  • Halo effect: The tendency for a person's positive or negative traits to "spill over" from one area of their personality to another in others' perceptions of them.
  • Primacy effect: The tendency to weigh initial events more than subsequent events.
  • Self-fulfiling prophecy: The tendency to engage in behaviors that elicit results that will consciously or subconsciously confirm our beliefs.
Sound familiar? So saying the module is notorious is Bandwagon effect. The victory of Obama is a reverse Bradley effect. Well... is just hell of things to memorise.. ok i shall end here and hope this will help me to memorise better?

我知道我可以。
